Some are neither, but I love 'em anyway. If you eat meat but want to use the low-carb recipes, just add meat.

UPDATE a couple of years after going Low Carb - High Fat as a lifestyle choice :
After losing 27 pounds of yucky belly fat over 21 days (and that is not a typo) I have found that I am becoming
less insulin resistant all the time. Translation: I can now eat twice the carbs
(some days rather more than that!) I could last year and the weight is not coming back. My "incurable" hypoglycaemia disappeared on day 6 of eating low-carb & high fat and has
never returned. Cravings for bread (my big weakness before) is still gone. Donít get me wrong,
I still love breadÖ or at least like it a lot, but I donít care anymore if I have it. My energy is still high; my bad cholesterol
is still low, and I still sleep better than at any time in my life.
And yeah, I still eat low carb/high fat. :D
